[Updated 14:55]? We are aware that some regions are not coming back up as the rolling restart hits them.? They will come back up at the conclusion of the rolling restart, which is estimated to be another 30-60 minutes.? Please monitor this post and if your region has not come back up within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the rolling restart please contact support.

[Updated @ 12:00 pm PDT] Rolling restarts are still on hold as we continue to bring the remaining offline regions back online.

[Updated @ 11:00 am PDT] We are still working to fix the regions that have been affected by this issue.? Please note that rolling restarts are still in progress.

[Updated @ 9:00 am PDT] The rolling restart has been halted for the time being as there are a number of regions that have failed to restart properly. The engineers are currently investigating this issue. Any regions that may currently be offline should be brought back online once the situation has been resolved.

[Posted August 7, 2009 @ 7:29 am PDT] We’ve completed the rolling restarts for 1/2 of the Second Life grid.

A rolling restart for 1/2 of the Second Life grid will deploy at 7:15 am PDT. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

As with all of our server deploys, each region will be restarted once during one of the rolling restart periods.? Most regions should be down no more than 5-10 minutes, although some fraction of the regions will take 20-30 minutes to upgrade.? If your region stays down for more than 30 minutes, please contact support.? Each region will receive warnings starting 5 minutes before that region is restarted.
